STC Health Science Building

Southeastern Technical College – Swainsboro, GA

Dublin Construction was the general contractor for the new Health Services Center for Southeastern Technical College. This was the campus’s first new building in over 10 years. Southern Eastern College’s Swainsboro campus Health Care Assistant, Health Care Science, Medical Assisting, Nurse Aide and Practical Nursing programs ware all located in the new facility. The work included demolition of two old classroom buildings, and construction of a new 47,000 sf facility for educational use. It contains several classrooms, labs, library, reading rooms, a tiered lecture hall. It is the new focal point of the campus, with the latest in architectural aesthetics. It was built using unique designs with exposed structures (steel and wood).Modern finishes such as painted, exposed structure, decorative metal beams, and metal exterior panels adorn the new building. The mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system are all designed with water conservation and energy efficiency as a focus of each system and their components.
