Dublin Construction was the general contractor for the restoration and renovation for the J Roy Rowland Federal Courthouse. The building, originally constructed in the 1930s, had undergone numerous small renovations and upgrades throughout its history, many of which did not have the preservation of historical elements included as a part of the scope of work. Our team worked to uncover historical elements and then carefully replicate these items throughout the building. The building systems were upgraded to achieve great efficiency while blending the new components into the historical fabric of the existing building. Our in-house carpenters worked to salvage materials such as mill-work, moldings, and finishes. Our ability to self perform laborious and scopes of work that are difficult to quantify brought value to the project throughout the entire process.
