The Nichiha Phase Two Plant Expansion, a 500,000 sq ft fast-tracked design-build project, transformed an operational manufacturing site with a new facility, offices, warehouses, and 29 equipment pits amid a 52-foot-high structure. DCC’s self-performed concrete and mechanical work bridged scope gaps, while close coordination with Nichiha’s team ensured safety and production continuity. Despite COVID-19 hurdles, our collaboration and cultural adaptability delivered a standout success.

500,000 sq ft
Little could we have known that we would be embarking on one of our company's largest endeavors at such a difficult and unpredictable time in history. In addition to the overwhelming challenges expected when building a 500,000-sqft state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with greatly expanded office space and a new warehouse, we experienced broken supply chains, labor shortages, international travel restrictions, closed government offices, skyrocketing costs, cultural differences, and countless unknowns. Through all of this, we could not have asked for a better or more professional project partner than Dublin Construction Company (DCC). During every step of every phase, the DCC team was right beside us providing their skills, expertise, and recommendations.
